On the 27th of April, the Technical University of Liberec (TUL) was pleased to welcome colleagues from our RUN-EU partner, the Polytechnic University of Cávado and Ave (IPCA), Portugal, for two days of inspiring discussions on research, innovation and the future of higher education.
One of the highlights was presenting the DeepTechSeeds project and discussing how its evidence-based approach to developing deep-tech talent can support the ambitions of the RUN-EU alliance.
What made the discussions particularly exciting was the natural synergy between the two initiatives.
DeepTechSeeds helps us understand which competencies future researchers need and how universities can better support Early-Career Researchers.
RUN-EU provides an outstanding European network where these ideas can be shared, tested and further developed through collaboration between partner universities.
Together, they create new opportunities to strengthen Europe’s deep-tech talent ecosystem and prepare researchers for increasingly interdisciplinary and innovation-driven careers.
Many thanks to our colleagues from IPCA for the inspiring discussions. We look forward to developing new ideas and future collaborations together.
