The DeepTechSeeds consortium gathered in Brussels for our 1st Plenary Meeting ont he 19th of November. It was a full-day exchange dedicated to aligning our vision and shaping the next steps of this ambitious Horizon Europe initiative.
DeepTechSeeds is building a self-sustaining ecosystem that nurtures talent, accelerates innovation, and strengthens Europe’s leadership in deep tech. By addressing the real challenges faced by Early Career Researchers (ECRs), from skills development and working conditions to mobility and open innovation, we are transforming the future of research careers in Europe.
Moreover, ee would also like to sincerely thank our Project Officer, Stijn Delauré, for his support and for his enlightening presentation on the new European Research Area (ERA). He announced an important update to the ResearchComp framework with the addition of a new competence on “Leveraging Artificial Intelligence.” Additionally, he also introduced the newly launched ResearchComp Self-Assessment Tool (SAT), a free online platform built around seven competence areas and four proficiency levels, enabling researchers to identify their skills gaps and training needs.
The meeting was filled with productive discussions, shared expertise, and a strong commitment to driving meaningful impact.
A big thank you to all partners for their collaboration and contributions.
Special thanks to the Region of Valencia EU Office for hosting us.
